JUNE NICHOLSON couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw her wedding dress in a charity shop window in Henley.
She had donated it to the Oxfam store in Market Place but she was taken aback when she saw it being put on a mannequin for all to see.
June has been married to Neil for 46 years and she decided to part with her wedding dress because she wanted to “de-clutter” their Henley home.
“I took it in a box to the shop a few weeks ago,” she says. “I got such a surprise when I came through the alleyway next door to the shop and saw the dress in the window.
“Someone was putting it on a model and placing the train around it. I let out a shriek saying ‘it’s my dress!’.”
