THE Henley Hawks are not the only team to have made a great start to the season.
The club’s veterans had a convincing win in their first outing of the season at Dry Leas as a curtain raiser to the first XV’s 37-0 victory over Cambridge.
The old boys won 63-0 against London Irish Veterans.
The match was played at 11.30am in order for the players to work up a thirst before lunch in the clubhouse prior to the main game of the day.
Among those present were a large number of former club captains from the last 40-plus years, including these 15 who were snapped immediately after the match.
