IT was with sadness that I read our report last week about the closure of One Offs in Henley at the end of this month.
The shop in Reading Road sells an unusual and interesting range of unique items ranging from 100-year-old Persian carpets to David Coulthard’s Formula 1 racing suit.
Owner Abba Kaboudahangi has decided to sell up after suffering a stroke last year as he now finds the work hard both physically and mentally and he can no longer drive.
The 55-year-old and his wife Bia took over the shop in Reading Road two-and-a-half years ago to run alongside his garage business in Chalgrove.
Mr Kaboudahangi, a qualified mechanic, has also sold the garage.
