CONGRATULATIONS to Olivier Bouet, chef patron of the Sweet Olive pub in Aston Tirrold, who has raised the highest amount by an individual over the past year for the Sue Ryder hospice in Nettlebed.
The Frenchman raised more than £20,000 after taking part in the Challenge Henley triathlon held in September, supported by his family.
As part his fundraising effort, Oliver “sold” his time to the highest bidder to enable them to host a dinner party with him as the chef.
Sue Ryder regional fundraiser Moira Logie says: “This money will keep the whole hospice running for about a week. We can only provide the care we do because of individuals such as Olivier who recognise what we do and the impact it makes on people’s lives. Thank you.”
