Sheltering business

A BUILDING firm has been given a permanent free advert in Henely partly thanks to Oxfordshire County Council.

Earlier this year, the council erected a new bus shelter in Reading Road between St Andrew’s Road and St Mark’s Road. At the time, builders from G L Carr, of Basildon, were working at a house nearby so they mounted a sign advertising their services on a garden wall. The council erected the shelter in front of the notice but the advert can still be seen through the structure’s Perspex panels.

So if you are waiting for a bus and need a builder...
