Family approach fosters keen sense of belonging

CLAIRES Court is a school for families run by a family — providing education from three to 18 years.

The facilities and playing fields are what you would expect from a private school, but it is the feeling of belonging and our ethos that will help your child thrive and flourish.

Based on three sites across Maidenhead, Claires Court is an all-ability day school.

In the junior and senior schools, girls and boys are educated separately but enjoy many joint learning opportunities outside the classroom, while the nursery and sixth-form pupils benefit from learning in a co-educational environment.

The school is a happy place, full of ambitious, confident young people.

We don’t teach to the test but equally our exam results reflect the benefits of smaller class sizes, with pupils achieving well above the national average.

Our educational philosophy embodies those skills needed in learning and life.

Right from the early years, the curriculum is responsive and inspiring.

Your child will be encouraged to investigate and discover, be creative and inquisitive, sometimes in the outdoor classroom, sometimes through the exploration of the digital world.

As they progress through the school, the broad and challenging programme encourages pupils to stretch themselves, push their own boundaries and take a measure of their own strengths.

Learning through experience is encouraged and supported, with an extensive range of trips and themed activities that help develop collaborative learning and confidence and give pupils the tools to succeed in life.

Achievement is a key focus; your child will be supported to academically achieve to the best of their ability as well as be encouraged to explore new opportunities and succeed in a variety of arenas through the excellent sport, music, art, drama and co-curricular activities.

This exceptional quality of education is more affordable than you think. With extended care operating from 7.30am to 6.30pm plus holiday clubs and free after- school activities, a Claires Court education is not only a great education for your child but can provide value for money and security for busy working parents.

There is also a transport service that serves much of the local area and runs between sites.

The best way for you and your child to experience life at Claires Court is by visiting the school and meeting the heads, staff and pupils.

There are open events throughout the year or you can arrange a private tour.

Please call the registrar on 01628 411472 or visit for more information.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
