SACRED Heart School in Henley has received national recognition, writes Phil Simms.
The National Association for Able Children in Education has awarded the Catholic primary a Challenge Award.
It means that the school has shown it gives pupils the opportunity to achieve across all subjects and in school life at a high level.
Examiners spent almost three weeks observing lessons and interviewing children before a visit and final assessment two weeks ago.
Headteacher Karen Edwards said to be eligible for the award the school had to meet 10 key criteria.
