Pupils given taste of action

PUPILS from RAF Benson Primary School took part in a range of activities at a Camo Day, a non-uniform day that raises money for military charity SSAFA.

The children saw military vehicles and survival equipment at the RAF base, learnt basic first aid skills and tackled an assault course.

It was the school’s third annual Camo Day and the children were joined by pupils from Icknield Community College and Watlington Primary School.

Headteacher Steph Fawdry said: “It was a fantastic day — it gets better every year. We are very grateful to the station personnel.”

The event raised £200.
