Gillotts pupils on language trip to Germany

Thirty-three year 11 pupils at Gillotts School in Henley spent four days in Berlin as part of their language and history studies.

They learnt about the history of Germany, particularly during the Second World War, and visited the Berlin Wall, the Bernauer Strasse, which divided East and West Berlin, the Reichstag and the Hohenschönhausen, the prison run by the Stasi, the East German police.
