PUPILS from Badgemore Primary School in Henley designed a Christmas-themed A-board for a chocolatiers.
Children from Cedar class unveiled their design for Gorvett & Stone, in Duke Street, last week. They have been learning about advertisements in their literacy classes and visited the shop earlier in the term as part of a topic about chocolate.
Teacher Tim Hoskins said: ?We could have designed an advertisement in the classroom for an imaginary business but this activity has given the children a purpose, which they have really enjoyed.?
The A-board contains details of the store?s ?Christmas coal? ? toffee coated in sherbet which looks like coal.
Owner Matthew Stone said: ?It can be difficult to come up with new ideas for A-boards so it was nice to have some help.?
