Godstowe is a flourishing boarding and day school, which, for the past 100 years, has been providing a quality of education which is among the very best you will find. Discerning parents have opted to send their daughters (and sons too, in the nursery and pre-prep) because they have been impressed with that they see and with what they hear about the school.

Children do not sit an entrance exam, yet Godstowe consistently achieves unrivalled academic results. However, Godstowe is not an academic “hot-house”. Children at the High Wycombe school are happy, confident, polite and considerate. It is through innovative teaching ideas, dynamic and caring staff and first-rate facilities and grounds that they thrive and succeed. There is a huge variety of after-school clubs, from dressmaking to dance club. Godstowe’s newest facilities include a theatre, used for termly productions (and much more), as well as a fantastic sports hall, which was opened in 2013.

Boarding life is focused within three houses in the grounds for girls aged seven to 13. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and there are fun-filled, busy weekends.

On Saturday, February 28, between 10am and 1pm, Godstowe is hosting an open morning. Prospective parents and children are invited to visit classrooms and boarding houses, talk to staff and pupils, tour the school and grounds and get a close-up view of life at Godstowe. If you would like to attend, please contact the Registrar on 01494 429006 or email registrar@godstowe.org.
