Deputy head retires after 30 years

THE deputy headteacher of the Piggott School in Wargrave is to retire at the end of this school year

THE deputy headteacher of the Piggott School in Wargrave is to retire at the end of this school year.

Maggie Urwin, who is also a languages teacher at the school, will have taught for 39 years, including 30 at Piggott.

The school will be holding a retirement celebration in July. Any former students or parents can send their memories of Mrs Urwin to retirement@piggottschool.org before July 1.
