Four people received emergency treatment after an e-bike fire spread through a property in Slough on Tuesday night.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire on Granville Avenue at 9.50pm on Tuesday, February 3.

Two crews from Slough Fire Station and one crew from Langley Fire Station attended the incident, along with an officer.

On arrival, firefighters found an e-bike fire that had affected the entire residential home.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze before deploying a ventilation fan to clear smoke from the building.

Firefighters provided immediate emergency care to four people at the scene.

The crews remained in attendance for approximately one hour and eight minutes before the incident was brought to a close.
