Help required

WARGRAVE fire station is appealing for people to become part-time firefighters.

The station in Victoria Road currently has five firefighters and provides station cover for Henley.

Volunteers must be aged 18 or over and live or work within six minutes of the station. They will need to be available once a week for training drills. All retained firefighters are given full training and are called up on average twice a week for two or three hours.The position is paid.

Anyone interested in joining Wargrave fire station can attend drill night, which is held every Monday from 7pm to 10pm.
