Station bicycle thieves

TWO men stole a bike from outside Henley railway station.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft, which happened at about 5.35pm on Saturday, October 4.

A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said: “Two men were seen cutting the padlock off a bike which was outside the railway station in Station Road, and then attempting to board the train with the stolen bike.

“The train driver did not let the offenders board the train and so they made off on two bikes, with the stolen bike.”

They are described as white, in their mid twenties, of medium build, with dark hair.
