A CAR was left just feet from the edge of the River Thames after a crash in Henley.
The Volkswagen ended up wedged on top of a metal bollard after colliding with a Skoda in Thames Side opposite the the junction with Friday Street at about 2.15pm on Monday.
The Skoda driver, who was in his eighties, was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading by ambulance but his injuries were not life-threatening.
The two cars, which were both damaged, were taken away by tow trucks and police controlled the passing traffic.
Some other bollards and an A-board were also damaged.
