Rush planting

VOLUNTEERS have planted marsh lousewort at Marsh Meadows in Henley to try and control the amount of sedges that dominate the area.

Lousewort (Pedicularis palustrisis) is semi-parasitic to sedges, which are closely related to rushes and most have stems with triangular cross-sections.
