Oxfordshire plan bus roadshow begins tour

Oxfordshire plan bus roadshow begins tour

A BUS visited Henley on Monday to inform residents of the Oxfordshire Plan 2050.

The red Oxford City service bus contained information boards on the draft plan, which is part of the
£215 million housing and growth deal agreed with the Government by all of Oxfordshire’s councils.

The bus was parked outside the town hall from 10am to 11.30am on the first day of a tour of the county.

Members of the planning team handed out leaflets and spoke to passers-by.

Peter Truman, communications and engagement advisor for the Oxfordshire Growth Board, said: “We want to know what people want from Oxfordshire for the next 30 years. We want to start the conversation. There are going to be more consultations later in the year but this is the first part of it. We are touring the county to get people involved, find out what’s important to them and get them to leave comments.”

The plan consultation runs until March 25. For more information, visit www.oxfordshireplan.org
