A CELEBRATION of motor sports in Nuffield was hailed a success by organisers.
About 500 people attended the sixth annual Stoke Row and Nuffield Motorsports Day at Timbers Farm, off Timbers Lane, on Sunday.
This year, for the first time, the show moved from Stoke Row to Nuffield and kicked off with the Maharajah’s Tour.
The 60-mile drive, named after the Maharajah’s Well in Stoke Row, set off at 9am from the Castrol Research Centre in Pangbourne and ended at the show ground.
Drivers then parked their vehicles as part of a display of more than 100 historic and modern racing cars, motorbikes and classic cars.
