THE fifth annual Regatta for the Disabled will take place at Phyllis Court Club in Henley on August 30.
Ten teams have entered the dragon boat races, which are open to both able-bodied and disabled rowers, but organisers say there is still time for more competitors to come forward.
The races will be in the form of a knockout tournament but each crew will get to race at least three times.
A new attraction this year will be two bell boats to allow more severely disabled people to have a go at paddling and steering.
The craft, made up of two canoes joined side by side, accommodates up to eight people and will be professionally helmed.
