A Halloween trail at Stonor Park has been hailed a success. Hundreds of families visited the trail where you must follow a marked route around the grounds of the estate while answering ghost-themed questions and jokes.
It was devised by Ines Barrowcliff, who lives near Watlington and is the niece of the Hon William Stonor, who has recently taken charge of Stonor Park. The visitor centre has been decorated with cobwebs and jack o’lanterns while four Halloween scarecrows have been put up nearby. The trail runs until Sunday. Mr Stonor said: “We’re getting great feedback. People absolutely love it.”
