Act fast to get Rewind tickets

Saturday tickets, campervan passes, VIP passes and premium moorings have all gone, leaving weekend and Sunday tickets and weekend camping passes on sale.

The B52s and the Pointer Sisters head the line-up of performers at this year?s fifth annual celebration of Eighties music, which will take place on Temple Island Meadows on the weekend of August 17 and 18.

The B52s, an American group best known for their singles Love Shack and Rock Lobster, will be making their only UK festival appearance on the Saturday.

Also confirmed for the opening day are American hip-hop pioneers the Sugarhill Gang, whose debut single Rapper?s Delight was the first rap song to chart in their own country.

Another new face this year is singer-songwriter Steve Harley and his band Cockney Rebel who had a No 1 with Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me) in 1975.

Saturday?s line-up also features the Blow Monkeys, Then Jerico, the Flying Pickets, ex-Journey frontman Steve Augeri and former Rewind performers Kim Wilde, Nik Kershaw, Chesney Hawkes, Billy Ocean and Heaven 17.

Sunday?s line-up include Paul Carrack, Blancmange, Aswad, the Orchestra, Matt Bianco, Sonia, Cutting Crew, Belinda Carlisle, Go West, ABC and Imagination featuring Leee John.
