Bake Off star to join Literary Festival

TELEVISION presenter and comedian Sue Perkins will appear at this year?s Henley Literary Festival.

TELEVISION presenter and comedian Sue Perkins will appear at this year?s Henley Literary Festival.

The Great British Bake Off host will be discussing her memoirs.

Other new names announced for the festival include thriller writer Lynda La Plante, Louis de Bernières, author of Captain Corelli?s Mandolin, Sex in the City creator Candace Bushnell and singer-songwriter Dean Friedman.

Australian Rugby World Cup winner Michael Lynagh will visit in the same week that his country takes on England at Twickenham

Local authors will include Jim Donahue, from Whitchurch, who will talk about Portrait of Henley, his new book of photographs.

Tickets go on general sale on July 21.
