Young reporters wanted

THE Henley Youth Festival, in partnership with the Henley Standard, is once again running a Young Reporter Competition, open to 11- to 16-year-olds.

THE Henley Youth Festival, in partnership with the Henley Standard, is once again running a Young Reporter Competition, open to 11- to 16-year-olds.

Four winners will spend the morning of Saturday, March 19 at the Henley Standard?s offices where they will spend time editing their own articles and helping to lay them out on their own page of the newspaper, which will be published the following week.

The winners will meet on Saturday, March 5 for a short editorial meeting to discuss the content of their articles.

To win a place as a young reporter, please write a short piece of text (around 100 words) on ?A Christmas Wish?.

This could be about a gift or present wanted, the anticipation of an event, a meeting hoped for, a trip desired, or something else longed for at Christmas time.
