YOUNG Voices is an annual event at the O2 Arena in London. It occurs every January and features hundreds of kids coming together to sing some songs.
It is a great occurrence since you can hear everyone’s voices loud and clear.
Many schools come with their year 5 and 6 children.
Once you’re in the arena, you’ll be welcomed by a mass of children and their parents/carers and their families.
Shows are put up and everyone gets to sing along.
I went there myself on two separate occasions — once when I was 10 and again when I was 11.
I spoke to many other children from different schools and felt like I bonded with them. Singing throughout the night with our classmates and teachers was very uplifting.
I felt like I could sing as loud as I wanted, which was a relief!
All the children wear white Young Voices T-shirts.
It’s a truly remarkable and nice experience that I highly recommend you go to — but take some binoculars to be ale to see your child/children!
You can buy small torches for them to hold during the show.
Then settle in for the show and prepare for booming singing and bright lights.
Take some photos of everyone to keep forever. It truly is a great sight.
