Two new concepts in toning the body

THE hottest new workout spreading the globe is BarreConcept — and it’s now available at Studio One in Nettlebed.

Barre training is huge in America, made popular by celebrities such as Madonna, Kelly Osbourne, Drew Barrymore and Natalie Portman.

Barre combines the precision of Pilates with the technique of ballet, the alignment of yoga and the strength from sports conditioning. The combined elements of the different methods fuse to form a challenging and exciting workout, which stretches and sculpts the muscles, whilst burning fat.

BarreConcept is the only internationally accredited Barre training course in the world and Sarah Palmer is the first qualified BarreConcept instructor in the Henley area. Basic barre work will be introduced to Sarah’s existing Pilates classes to provide more standing work and variety. However, they will also be offering weekly BarreConcept workouts from April to allow those who wish to experience the total Barre workout which includes the cardiovascular element.

The workout produces dramatic results that sculpt and redefine the entire body, without even being a dancer. The low impact total body workout lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs and sculpts the arms, whilst protecting the joints.
