Yoga can reduce stress and alleviate insomnia

EVERYONE knows yoga can help you become more flexible and strong — but it also has significant benefits for your health.

Reducing stress, alleviating insomnia and balancing blood pressure are just a few.

Isie and Stacey of Yoga Pad Henley are two fully-qualified and insured yoga teachers who believe that yoga should be for everybody.

“We are really passionate about the benefits of yoga for everyone — not just physically but mentally and spiritually,” they say.

“We want to enable everyone to enjoy these benefits and so after meeting at our teacher training, decided to join forces in order to offer just that.”

Stacey, who was born and raised in California, has always been interested in health and wellbeing.

She came to yoga 10 years ago and fell in love with how it changed her perspective of what it means to be “fit”.

Isie has been practising yoga for over 17 years and has been teaching at Yoga Central Plus in Henley since 2013.

“We love the space we are fortunate to have at Yoga Central Plus and so do our students, who love the fact that our classes are not too big, which means they get the attention they need throughout the class.”
