THE new football season is now in full swing at Wargrave Recreation Ground. Wargrave Wolves are offering football for boys from the U6 age group all the way through to U14s.
The youngest group have a fun, friendly training session at The Rec from 9.30am, whilst those aged U7 and upwards play for teams in the East Berks League.
From the Club’s inception in 2007, there are now 12 teams playing in the East Berks League, and we continue to go from strength to strength. The boys have midweek training at the excellent 3G facility at the Piggott School, and a number of them also find time to train mid-week with Wycombe Wanderers or Reading FC.
We’re still keen to welcome new players across all the age groups, and if you’d like to find out more please visit the website at www.wargravewolves.co.uk
Off the playing pitch we’re heading in the right direction too. The boys, and parents, are going to see England at Wembley against the mighty footballing nation called Malta in October.
What could possibly go wrong? More than 60 tickets are lined up, with a coach arranged for what will hopefully be a fun day out for all involved.
Many thanks to our existing sponsors who help ensure the boys are kitted out with shirts and equipment. They are as follows: Charterhouse, Hare Hatch Sheeplands, InDzine, Kings Property Agents, Martin & Co, Talk Talk and Huawei.
Meanwhile, the Wolves are also happy to speak to new potential sponsors in order to explore other opportunities to take the club forward.
To discuss this further please speak to Club Chairman, Andy at firstname.lastname@example.org
