“Teaching Pilates is my passion,” says Alyth. “My aim is to help make a difference to my clients’ movement and alignment patterns by teaching gentle balanced workouts. It’s so rewarding watching clients improve as the weeks go by â?? the improvements in their suppleness, posture and muscle tone.”
Classes are kept small to make sure clients receive individual attention. Movements are choreographed to suit the individual, adapting or offering alternatives as needed.
Alyth teaches Pilates for all levels. A free taster class is available to all newcomers. Beginners are always welcome. Alyth also teaches Pilates for hip and knee replacements, arthritis, breathing, falls prevention, scoliosis, Parkinson’s and osteopaenia/ osteoporosis.
Pilates ABC Henley runs for the community in Henley, Crazies Hill, Hurley, Knowl Hill and Sonning Common. Private sessions are also available.
Starting on Thursday, September 17, is an exciting new class. Buff BonesÂ®, medically endorsed in the US, is a complete workout for balance and bone strengthening using Pilates and other fitness skills, including an aerobic element.
