EMMER GREEN are still searching for their first Senior Division points of the season after going down to a 3-2 defeat at home to TILEHURST CLUB on Sunday at the Recreation Ground.

The hosts had the better start going 2-0 up with goals from Luke Donegan and Ciaran Crean but were unlucky to concede just before the break.

Emmer Green fought hard in the second half but could not convert and were punished when Tilehurst netted twice to put them ahead.

The home side pushed hard for the equaliser with the best chances falling to Luke Donegan and John Donegan but neither could find the back of the net. Elsewhere in the division KIDMORE END/THE MOD are also still searching for their first points of the season after they went down 4-0 at WHITLEY TAVERN.

In the Premier Division KIDMORE END/THE MOD RESERVES made it three matches unbeaten as they eased to a 5-1 victory against GHANA STARS at Gallowstree Common.



In Division 1 SC UNITED went down to a heavy 8-1 defeat at AFC BURGHFIELD.
