Osipczak wraps up scoring for Town

WATLINGTON TOWN RESERVES extended their unbeaten run which started at the start of December as they thrashed UFFINGTON UNITED 8-3 in their Division 4 clash last Saturday.

Two goals each from Sam Saunders, Gabby Heycock and Andy Gray and one each from Sean McCullough and Nick Osipczak completed the scoring for the hosts.

The hosts went 1-0 up after just two minutes, before being pegged back by the visitors. Further goals were added, with the teams going in 5-2 at the break. Town then increased their lead to 7-2 to make the game safe. Uffington grabbed a late consolation, before Town put some gloss on the scoreline with an eighth and final strike, from Osipczak, in only his second game for the club.

WATLINGTON TOWN crashed out of the Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup at the semi-final stage after going down 4-1 at MARSTON SAINTS RESERVES.
