Hurricanes U-12s give their all in six-a-side tournament

Wargrave Wolves under-17s have been presented with their trophies for being Champions of Division 2.

The team received them at the East Berks FA presentation on Saturday, at the White Knights Reading University campus.

As a result they have won promotion and will be playing in Division 1 of the East Berks League when the season starts again in September.

The team has space for another two or three players. Wolves manager Andy Meader said: “If there are any boys currently in school year 11 or 12 that want to play a good level of football next season please get in touch.”

Training is on Wednesday evening and games are on Saturday mornings.
