ROTHERFIELD UNITED made it two wins on the bounce when they came from behind to beat hosts SANDHURST DEVELS 2-1 in a closely fought Premier Division clash.
Sandhurst took the lead against the run of play when Ed Bickerton was adjudged to have bundled over the home striker in the box as the ball was sent in from a free kick. The striker dispatched the penalty into the bottom corner.
Rotherfield continued to pile on the pressure and drew level when Candish found Sidhu in the box who cut in on to his left foot and shot towards the far post where the keeper could only parry the ball into the path of Candish who slid in to score.
Rotherfield took the lead when a Ryan Richardson free kick was only parried by the keeper and Sidhu’s shot on the follow up fell in the path of Craig Sinclair who bundled the ball in.
Sandhurst piled on the pressure in the second half and their possession led to a lot of set pieces around the box, but they could not break down Rotherfield’s defence as the visitors secured all three points.
