Tornadoes blown away by Rotherfield

THERE were hat-tricks for three players as ROTHERFIELD UNITED U18s romped to a 15-0 South Chiltern Minor League win at THATCHAM TORNADOES U18s on Sunday.

The visitors opened the scoring after 10 minutes through Nik Bunin-Raris. Rotherfield really upped the pressure scoring a further five goals before half-time with a hat-trick from Patrick Gardener and two goals from Ollie Williams.

Rotherfield didn’t relax in the second half and continued to pressurise their opposition with Williams completing his hat-trick, three goals also for Nye Rees, two goals for Markland Tidswell, a second for Nik Bunin-Raris and one goal each for Guy Thurlow and Andrew Little.

Thatcham forced a last minute penalty which was saved by Liam Peachey in the United goal.

ROTHERFIELD UNITED U13s picked up all three Berkshire Youth League Division 1 points thanks to a 4-1 win away at WOODLEY WANDERERS HURRICANES U13s.
