Kidmore suffer first league loss of season

Kidmore suffer first league loss of season
KIDMORE END slipped to their first Premier Division defeat of the season when they went down 3-1 to SOUTHBANK at Gallowstree Common.

The hosts took the lead after a Michael Butcher corner was cleared to Michael Tegg, who hit a thunderous first time strike into the top corner from 25 yards.

However, that was as good as it got for Kidmore End who struggled to contain Southbank in the wet blustery conditions.

First a penalty then two second half strikes condemned Kidmore to defeat.

KIDMORE END RESERVES moved up to third place in Division 2 West thanks to a 3-2 win away to second placed BASILDON BARBARIANS.
