Browne nets hat-trick as side hit top spot

Watlington Town 3 Kidlington Old Boys 1

AFC HENLEY KITES U14s went down to a 4-0 defeat at home to HEART OF TEDDLOTHIAN TIGERS U14s on Saturday despite creating numerous scoring opportunities.

The visitors raced into a 3-0 half-time lead but in the second half the hosts upped the pressure and created several goalscoring chances.

Both Tom Priestley and Callum Brady made some tackles to deny goal scoring opportunities while Toby Print, Lukhanyo Zitha and Patrick Snookes-Owen all came close to scoring. However, it was the visitors who netted once more to secure all three East Berkshire Alliance points.

AFC HENLEY HOTSPURS U11s roared to the top of the league with a 9-3 victory away at REACO. Starting the game with just eight players Henley soon got into their stride with Leo Browne firing home. Reaco replied but again Browne restored Henley’s advantage.
