Red Kites stop the rot with derby victory

Henley Town 2 Woodley 1

HENLEY TOWN returned to winning ways after three consecutive league defeats, overcoming a spirited challenge from Woodley Town in their Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East encounter, writes Graham Harris.

Louis Howell shot over the bar after two minutes making his presence felt in the Woodley defence.

The diminutive Kites forward saw his firm strike caught by outstretched Woodley keeper Ben Tanner minutes later.

Woodley forwards Lemar Maycock and Seun Odusonya both created chances for the visitors as play moved from end to end.
