GORING ROBINS started brightly away to Southcote and took an early lead through Bertie Spencer before pushing on for a 4-2 victory.
But Southcote slowly tightened the screw, pushing the play into the Robins’ half.
After some early defensive changes, a corner gifted Southcote an equaliser.
Southcote kept up the pressure and forced some excellent saves from keeper Tom Canning, but at the break the home side had a 2-1 lead.After half time, the Robins came out with renewed vigour and looked the more confident side.
Sterling defensive work from Sam Alexander, Will Cusack and some mid-field magic from Josh Monk started to turn the game. With 10 minutes left, James Pearson equalised and found the net again shortly after.
