HAMBLEDEN went down to a narrow defeat away to AFC Spartans in the Senior Division of the Wycombe and District League on Saturday.
The visitors started the game by creating plenty of chances. On the 10 minute mark Hambleden were quick to break from a Spartans attack.
The ball was released out to Derby on the right wing who broke past the opposing left back. The ball was squared on the 18 yard box to Reading who in turn found the waiting Longden who was waiting to side-foot the ball home to put the visitors ahead.
After 18 minutes from a Spartans corner the ball was swung in and although cleared to the edge of the penalty area, it was side-footed through a crowd of players into the roof of the net to level the scores.
