Trailing 2-0 at half-time the hosts pulled a goal back when captain John Donegan headed home. The visitors hit back with two further goals to seal the three points.
HENLEY TOWN were left disappointed after drawing their home Premier Division match 1-1 with SOUTHBANK.
The hosts took the lead after 20 minutes when the visiting keeper dropped the ball at Howard Olley’s feet.
Henley had plenty of chances in the rest of the opening half but failed to capitalise on them.
After the interval, Southbank showed a marked improvement, while Henley deteriorated.
The equaliser, which arrived at the 70th minute, came via a 35-yard free kick. GORING UNITED slipped to their second Division 1 West defeat of the season as they went down 6-1 at MEADWAY YOUTH.
Goring went a goal down after five minutes, but drew level after 10 minutes, with a route one goal after Luke Butler latched on to a long ball, before dispatching it past the advancing keeper. Medway scored further goals after 15 minutes and just before half-time to take a 3-1 lead.
The hosts scored three more goals in the second half to claim a comfortable victory while Goring’s keeper John Ramsay pulled off several good saves.
