VISITING side WOODCOTE/STOKE ROW’s faint Premier Division title hopes look all but over after they went down to a 2–1 defeat away to SANDHURST DEVELS.
Ross Weatherstone gave Woodcote the lead before Sandhurst equalised. The hosts won the game with a goal in added time.
ROTHERFIELD UNITED slipped into the relegation zone after going down to a 2–1 defeat against AFC ALDERMASTON.
Ryan Richardson was on target for the Bishopswood side on the half hour mark.
SONNING were relegated from Division 1 after going down 3–0 to AFC CORINTHIANS at Pound Lane.
In Division 2 GORING UNITED were relegated after losing 4–1 away to promotion chasing READING YMCA RAPIDS. Jack Munnay was the scorer for the visitors.
WOODCOTE/STOKE ROW RESERVES took a major step towards winning the Division 3 title with a comprehensive 4–0 win at home to BARKHAM ATHLETIC.
The visitor were outplayed in the first half, with Jonny Clark and Tom Brownlow putting the hosts 2–0 up.
A further goal was added by Carl Smith after 65 minutes and Brownlow got his second two minutes from the end to complete the scoring.
A win in their last match against Baughurst will secure the title and even a draw should be good enough as Woodcote have far superior goal difference to leaders Imaan who have played all their matches.
