FORTY students from Gillotts School in Henley enjoyed a week’s skiing in Champoluc in the Aosta Valley in Italy.
They were lucky to have sunshine every day with blue skies, great visibility and fantastic skiing on the uncrowded slopes.
Evening entertainment included cross-country skiing featuring individual and team races.
This was followed by the local speciality hot chocolate, which is so thick that it was often easier to eat with a spoon, and a fun evening at a mountain restaurant high above Champoluc eating pizza and singingkaraoke.
