GILLOTTS School is to hold a second public meeting on plans to sell one of its playing fields for housing.
The academy hopes to make £10 million from the sale, which it would spend on new classrooms and sports facilities. The 3.4-hectare site, which is in the neighbourhood plan, could take up to 85 homes. Parent-governor Chris Wermann said: “We would be delighted if everyone could see, share and support our vision for the future generations of our children.”
The meeting will take place on June 24. A venue and start time will be announced next week.
