MATTHEW ROBERTSON won back-to-back Mapledurham club championships to retain his title.

MATTHEW ROBERTSON won back-to-back Mapledurham club championships to retain his title.

The championship was fought out over two rounds with the cut being limited to the best 45 scores.

Robertson led after round one scoring 73 which was repeated in round two, giving a total of 146. Tanveer Abbas was runner-up on 148 and Alex Luxon third on 149. The ladies’ championship was won by Danielle McGeoghan on 164 after two rounds, beating Theresa Taylor by five shots and Jess Kennedy by seven.

The men’s net competition was won by Chris Gosling scoring net 65 and 66, the only player to score two rounds under handicap. The ladies’ net competition was won by Kym Kennedy.
