BADGEMORE PARK hosted its annual pro am tournament on Sunday, playing host to an entry of 25 teams of four players.

Neil Palmer, John Bowers and Martin Swaddling joined forces with Bearwood Lakes’ professional Martin Woodbridge to post a 13 under winning score of 125 for the team event.

The winning professional on the day was the same Woodbridge, carding an individual two under, 67. Earlier in the weekend the Vlasto Cup saw Kevin Harris lift the trophy with 43 points from Millie Anderson in second place (39) and Gareth Osborn third (37).

A Badgemore team consisting of Mervyn Hardman, Eric Turtle and Neil Linkleter played in the Mill Ride Seniors Open on Wednesday of last week where they won the overall team prize.

Hardman also won the super seniors individual prize and nearest the pin on the third.
