Badgemore duo win back BadHen Trophy
BADGEMORE PARK won back the BadHen Trophy they lost a year ago when they defeated visitors Henley.

Leading 4-2 from the first leg played three weeks ago, Badgemore, led by C team captain Ken Arlett and vice-captain Danny Fois finished the match with a 4.5-1.5 win for Badgemore, for an aggregate score of 8.5-3.5.

Meanwhile the final for one of the last winter competitions at Badgemore, the Arlett Cup, was held on Saturday. The pairs winter knockout was won by the trophy donor’s son, Scott Arlett and David Shedden, who finished one up on the father-and-son partnership of Terry and David Howse.

On Sunday Simon Bradley ran out winner of the Allen Cup, a 36-hole medal strokeplay competition. Bradley took the honours with a net score of 71 and 69. Runner-up was Fizz Kazzam with 73 and 70 on countback from Mark Brooks with 68 and 75.
