Harris-White secures runners-up spot
PLAYERS from six other clubs competed against a strong home club entry for the Henley Golf Club Junior Open played over 36 holes on Friday of last week.

Play was of a high standard with more than half the field playing to handicap or better in the first round.

Julia Warke from Stoke Park just edged the gross prize with a score of plus nine after both rounds.

Henley’s Alex Harris-White was second with plus 10 while Harleyford’s Peter Handcock was third with plus 11.

The handicap prize was won by Louis Walsh of Henley with a score of nine under par. His handicap will now be reduced. Second on handicap was Maidenhead’s Darnell Scadding at three under and Tom Hancock of Henley was third with one under.
