Arnold retains ladies’ club championship

SARAH ARNOLD retained the ladies’ club championship at Henley Golf Club.

A small number of silver players took part in the coveted competition which was contested over 36 holes.

After the morning round Arnold had a five shot lead with a gross 79 from Sally Woolven, Maddy Field and Clair Dodds.

A gross 82 in the afternoon was good enough for Arnold to retain the trophy with Woolven recording another gross score of 84 to take the runner-up spot.

The handicap competition run in conjunction with the championship was won by Clare Dodds with a net 147. Runner-up was Jocelyn Brown with a net 155 on countback from Maddy Field.
