King has the edge

PETER KING took the honours in a closely fought midweek medal at Caversham Heath.

PETER KING took the honours in a closely fought midweek medal at Caversham Heath.

King scored a net 72 to win by a shot. Runner-up was John Glass on countback from Larry Dize and Michael Naran, all on net 73.

Twos were recorded by Adam Spittles and Mathew Brakspear, both on the eighth hole.

Nick Ford emerged triumphant in the nine-hole evening qualifier. Ford scored 40 points. Second was Suzanne Snow with 38 points and third was Neil Ruegg with 37. The only two of the competition was scored by Simon Dicketts on the eighth hole.
