NEW Badgemore Park captain Danny Fois held his captain’s drive-in on Sunday.

NEW Badgemore Park captain Danny Fois held his captain’s drive-in on Sunday.

Fois, who took over the reins from outgoing Scott Pearson, struck a good ball which sliced close to the trees just off the fairway.

After his drive-in 116 contestants took part in a shotgun start (Texas scramble) which was won by Wendy Jelden, Alex Steedman, Gordon Hannam and David Carr with a net score of 57.2. Runners-up with 58.1 were June Gaffney, Minesh Parmer, Paul Woollard and Terry Denby.

Fois has chosen the Scoliosis Association (UK) as his charity for the year, a charity close to his heart as his daughter suffers from the condition. On the day £1,275 was raised.
